#16 Mariska Baars, Robert Deters & Rutger Zuydervelt - Gris GrisThis album isn't for everyone. In fact, it's probably for no one. I'm merely placing it on the internet for the world to grab in case there is someone who will enjoy it as much as I have. Track one may seem like complete silence for a few minutes, but a quick view of the spectrogram reveals something quite different. Something so delicate it requires an open schedule and a good set of cans to appreciate. Each track is it's own textured loop, giving anywhere from an underwater feel to that pop-glitch style 2009 has been flooded with. This was released on Low Point, which is slowly becoming my label of choice.
